Performance Test Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Participate in JMeter script implementation, performance testing and support of customer banking solutions
• Provide support to technical performance investigations of reported incidents or issues within SLA (Service Level Agreements)
• Conduct periodical technical training to educate application developers on performance related best practices
• Monitor the compliance of performance policy and standard
• Conduct audit, perform analysis and test on non-functional requirements of project delivery. Provide root cause analysis and recommendation/resolution
• Carrying a Subject Matter Expertise (SME) role in project

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Sciences/Software Engineering/Information Technology is a must
• The candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of technical experience with web-based programming background (Java platform in particular)
• The candidate must have experience using JMeter to conduct performance test for web application in Microservice ecosystem and familiar with technology stacks such as Kubernetes, Prometheus & Grafana, and EFK/ELK (Elasticsearch-FluentD/Logstash-Kibana)
• Basic knowledge of network infrastructure hardware (switches, routers, firewalls, load balancer, etc.) is a plus
• The candidate must be willing to travel to customer site
• The candidate must have hands-on experience working with network and system in web base environment (one or more of the following): LAN/WAN, Linux (Ubuntu/RHEL), Windows and Oracle/Postgres Database
• Background in the financial industry will be an advantage
• The candidate must have excellent technical writing, interpersonal and presentation skills. A high-energy individual with a positive attitude and good team skills is required
• The candidate must have a great passion for application/system issues troubleshooting and resolution
• Great attention to detail
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadline
