Digital Transaction Banker Wins MSC APICTA 2011, Best of Financial Applications

eBworx Digital Transaction Banker received the highest honour in the Malaysia ICT fraternity with the award of the MSC APICTA (Asia Pacific ICT Alliance) Award for 2011's Best of Financial Applications.

Kuala Lumpur, 25 October 2011 - eBworx Digital Transaction Banker received the highest honour in the Malaysia ICT fraternity with the award of the MSC APICTA (Asia-Pacific ICT Alliance) Award for 2011's Best of Financial Applications. The award, held at the Hilton Grand Ballroom saw nominations coming from 246 entries across the various categories.

The Digital Transaction Banker (DTB) is a new generation Cash Management and Trade Finance solution providing features such as Portfolio Enquiry, Local and International Payments and Transfers, and Cheque Management as well as extended features such as Payroll, Positive Pay Management, Receivables and Collections as well as Liquidity Management.

With our clients growing regionally, eBworx embarked on research and development to enable handling of global portfolio enquiry (i.e. a customer with banking accounts in several countries is able to enquire their total portfolio across borders) and cross-border transfers and authorisation giving our bank's customers the advantage of banking with a truly global bank as well as incorporate Web 2.0 and Portal Technology to cater to the next generation of CFO's, Gen-Y.

To further complement the product, the solution is also mobile-enabled where it is offered on iOS devices (iPhone and iPad), Android devices as well as browser enabled for Symbian and Blackberry devices.

eBworx was a winner at the MSC APICTA 2009 as well as the International APICTA 2009 awards at Melbourne, Australia with its credit management system, Digital Credit Management System (DCMS) and eBworx looks to continue the good work, representing Malaysia with another winnable product for 2011.
