Kuala Lumpur, 20 October 2010 - eBworx announces that OCBC NISP Indonesia has awarded the Mobile Banking project to eBworx. The project will extend the Internet Banking platform to Mobile.
Indonesia which sees an increase in mobile adoption especially Blackberry and Smartphone usage is a large market which OCBC NISP hopes to tap on to further strengthen its position in Indonesia.
The evaluation process which involved several vendors and options was finally narrowed to eBworx owing to its successful track record of delivery, proven platform and innovative solution.
Indonesian bank's has mostly deployed mobile on SMS and OCBC NISP's foray into Mobile Internet Banking looks set to catapult the bank to the forefront of technology adoption.
