Kuala Lumpur, 05 August 2006 - eBworx Bhd posted a 14.14% jump in pre-tax profit to RM1.91mil for the second quarter ended June 30 on a 6.54% improvement in revenue to RM8.34mil.
“The group's efforts to focus on larger projects continue to bear fruit. The results were contributed from the progress billings of several ongoing projects secured in the first quarter,” chief executive officer Tan Suan Fong said in a statement.
“The group will continue to enhance product offerings via research and development, expand internationally while optimising its operational efficiency with a view to boost shareholders' value,” he said.
With a healthy order book, the directors expect the performance for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2006, to be satisfactory.
