Petaling Jaya, 23 October 2014 onwards - The Fit Camps were held with fantastic turnouts. Each session lasted about 60-minutes. The programme was customised by Coach Lizzie for us with mid-intensity. We started off with some basic exercises. There were some solid strength-training sessions by just using our body weight to do the push-up, followed by sit up exercises that target our abs strength. Also, we did a few reps of Squats that did wonders for building muscular bulk and strength, not just for the legs, but for the entire body.
After that, Coach Lizzie brought us through an intense circuit that kept our heart rate up, burned calories and toned our whole body. The session ended with a 10 min final set consisting of push-ups, sit-ups, mountain climbing and jumping jacks. Midway through, we could hear huffing and puffing. We were overjoyed when Coach Lizzie announced that the 10 min was over.
For those who have not been working out for a long time, we ended up with sore muscles. We have technically taxed our muscles, helping them to get stronger. Nevertheless, we all had fun and it was an awesome workout!
